Hi loves, I will keep today's post short, but it's all about the perfect summer dress. When it comes to summer, what is the first color you think about? For me, it's white and lace. I found this darling crochet dress on Chicwish. I love every detail on this dress. From the crochet design to the lace-up back, it screams summer. Also, this dress would be perfect for a bride to be. The length, color, and design make this dress super chic. It does run a little big so I would definitely size down.
One of my favorite things to do is give myself an at-home facial. I make this a property for my skin care. I do it twice a month and my skin has been really loving it!
A couple of weeks ago, Tula sent me some product that I've been dying to try out. My mom came to town to visit, of course, we had to try out the products so we did facials. This is actually a really fun activity to do with your mom, your girlfriends, or even your boyfriend (if he allows it).
You all already know that I love trying out new skincare. When I try new skin products, I give it two weeks to see how my skin reacts to the products. I feel like that is the perfect time frame, so I have been using Tula's products for that long. If you are not familiar with their brand, they use natural probiotics which are healthy superfoods like turmeric and all safe ingredients. That's one thing I really loved about their products. If you've read my blog before, I've talked about how my skin is sensitive. I only want to use products that are natural or for my skin type.
Here are the steps to give yourself an at-home facial:
1. Cleansing / Exfoliating:
The first step is to always cleanse your face. Tula has a great cleanser for your face. It feels so good on your skin and also smells really good. I also like to exfoliate my skin at this time but the mask that I am going to use has exfoliating beads in it so I skip the exfoliating part when I use that mask. If you are looking for a good exfoliating face wash, I highly recommend Philosophy. That stuff is amazing and leaves your skin so clean and smooth.
2. Steam
The next step is to steam your skin. A great way to do this is by boiling water (if you use essential oils you can add that to the water as well). You don't want it to be extremely hot, just warm, take a towel put it over your face for about 10 to 15 minutes. The heat will help to open your pores up that way you can clean all of the dirt out.
3. Extractions
Extractions would be the next step, but I tend to skip this step. I'll leave this step for my dermatologist. I just don't know enough about it to do it on myself. I know there are tools that you can use like the BeautyBio Micro-needling which is on sale for the Nordstrom Anniversary sale.
4. Treatment Mask
This is my favorite part just because your skin is nice and prepped. This is when your face is most ready to get all of those nutrients. My favorite mask is Tula's Exfoliating Treatment Mask. That's why I said earlier I skip the exfoliating part. It already has the exfoliating beads in the mask. It might be too harsh for my skin if I did both.
Anyways, I love this mask!!! It feels amazing on my skin. It helps to detoxify and gently exfoliating your skin without stripping the essential oils. This mask has antioxidant-rich blueberry that helps to hydrate and improve your skin. You leave it on for about 5 minutes and trust me your face is going to feel so clean and smooth after using it!
5. Hydrate & Moisturize
After your treatment mask, this is the best time to really hydrate your skin. You want to treat and tone it. First, I put Tula's Aqua Infused Gel, it literally feels like a glass of water for your skin. Sometimes, I'll do the rose oil from Trader Joe's which is another product that I love. Then, I'll put Tula's Aqua Infusion Power Liquid serum which helps to hydrate and plump your skin. This is when I tone my face. I use Tula's Pro-Glycolic Resurfacing gel which is an alcohol-free toner that will leave your skin to look smoother. Also, get rid of your wrinkles and fine lines.
Finally, this is when you moisturize your skin. You want to apply a thick layer of moisturizer all over your face and neck. Be sure to really rub it into your skin. You want your skin to absorb the moisturizer. My current favorite is Mario Badescu Chamomile Night Cream but Tula has an amazing hydrating moisturizer as well. I like how you can use the same cream for day and night, but Mario Badescu is only for the night.
I hope this post helps this post will help you to achieve the best skin & if you like this post be sure to check out my skin care under $100 post.
I wanted to share everything you need from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale that is under $100. The sale will open up to the public on Friday the 20th. If you have been eyeing anything, I suggest getting it as soon as possible. Everything is selling out so fast! The first night of the sale. I stayed up to get content prepared for you guys. I was eyeing a pair of Nike's and they sold within the hour. It was seriously nuts. I am going to share all of my favorites (under $100) from the Nordstrom sale.
Cardigans have been selling out so fast so I would definitely stock up as many as you can. They are all super cozy and soft. These are both the same cardigan just a different color. It comes in six different colors. It's a perfect way to transition your outfits to fall. You can pair it with a tank and shorts. Later, pair it with knee-high boots. I am wearing an XS.

Love this military-inspired jacket. It runs true to size and would be perfect for any body type. This would be a perfect fall jacket. It's actually the best time to stock up on jackets for fall/winter.
This sweater has to be one of the softest and coziest. It runs really big! I am wearing a small and really wish they had an extra small. Just wanted to give you all that heads up!
This dress is everything! You can dress it up or down. Also, layer it in the fall and winter. For fall you can add a cardigan and booties. For winter you can add a turtleneck, a coat, and some boots. It's definitely versatile! Sizing wise it runs true to size extra small. They only have a few sizes left but I will link other dresses that I think you would be able to pull all season long.

Now, lets shop:
Sweaters + Cardigan:
Every year, I love to grab some sweaters and cardigans for the fall and winter. Last year, all of the cardigans sold out so quickly so I hope I can grab some this year. My favorite cardigan this year is the Madewell one. It is super soft and perfect for fall and winter. During the summer, I love to layer my tanks with a cardigan.
Jeans:
This has to be the best time to buy a new pair of jeans. You can never go wrong with jeans. Plus, you can wear them all year long. The reason why I said it's the best time
You can get designer jeans that are going to be for the fall marked down.
Shoes:
I am definitely a shoe kind of girl! I always have to buy at least one pair of shoes from the NSale. I tend to buy boots. Last year, I got some slides which I still love and wear every day. This is also a great time to stock up on some shoes.
Jackets:
I also love to buy jackets during the Nordstrom Sale. I still have the leather jacket that I bought three years ago. I still wear it every year. One of my all time and best purchase that I made!
Tops:
You can find some great deals on tops! Be on the lookout because I will do a blog post on all of the deals that are under $100.
