It's that time again for the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale that you can save up to 40% on summer clothing. I love to shop this sale just because it's a perfect time to stock up on great summer clothing. Not only summer I could see myself transitioning some of these pieces by throwing a jacket over creating a fall outfit. I categorized it so it will be easier for you guys to shop! Sale ends on June 4th.
One of my all time favorite trend for spring/summer is lace. When in doubt just wear lace. It's perfect for any occasions to weddings or even date night. It's also lightweight so you can wear it all year around.
Lace is a great way to add a touch of feminine to your wardrobe. In this particular outfit, I feel like it's feminine meets edgy. The lace gives it the romantic feel but showing the midriff gives this outfit the perfect edge it needs.
I found this dress on one of my favorite site Chicwish. You will never believe it but this two piece set is under $100! When I first received this dress, I was so excited to try it on. This outfit has to be the funniest look I have shot with Adrian to date. I told him that I wanted to capture the details and the movement of this outfit.
So the way I styled this outfit, I wanted the dress to be the main focus. I paired it with my nude pumps from Steve Madden and my Kelly Wynne clutch. I didn't want to lose the pretty blue color so I decided to accessorize it with silver jewelry. I noticed my clutch had gold in it so I decided to wear my David Yurman ring has a mix of silver and gold. A little side note, this is a great way to mix metals together. This way the color blue is the main color palette in this outfit.
You guys, I have found the perfect romper for summer!
The temperatures in Austin is slowly rising so it's time to bring out the rompers. Nothing says summertime like a good straw hat and an all white outfit.
I love the style of this outfit. Off the shoulder has been on trend for some time and we are recently seeing the bell sleeve being incorporated with it. What more could you ask for all the biggest trends in one outfit!
This particular romper I love how it cinches at the waist because it is so flowy. It will add shape to any body type! I do suggest sizing down one because it is a tab bit loose on me. Other than that, I can see myself taking this on a beach trip or even just wear it to brunch!
Okay lovess, it's time to shop because Rebecca Minkoff's sample sale is on!!

I wanted to make the shopping process easier for you so below I pulled different items that would be stapled pieces to add to your closet.
Mother's Day is just around the corner, and I wanted to do a quick post and share the perfect gifts for Mother's Day.
Even though I think Mother's Day should be every day, this is our time to really cherish our mothers. No matter how many jobs there are out there, being a mother is the hardest!
Like the quote states above, "I got it from my momma" is so true. I got everything from my mom from my fashion sense to my personality. She was the one that always keeps me grounded. Still, till this day, she tells me that I can do anything as long as I put my mind to it.
She is also the one that evolved my fashion sense. I remember for my eight-grade graduation the girls in my class all wore dresses that you would wear to prom. Of course, I wanted to wear one as well so I could fit in. Well, that did not go well with my mother. She bought me the poofiest Susanne Lively dress. The only choice I was picking the color of my dress which I choose blue because that's my favorite color. Long story short, at that time I was so angry I had to wear this dress because I was the only girl who looked like a little girl. Now looking back, I praise my mother for making me wear that dress because I actually looked how I was supposed to look at that age. I wore this beautiful princes' dress that was so simple and elegant. That's exactly how my style is reflected today. It's very chic, simple, and elegant.
Now, it's funny she owns a children's boutique in New Orleans called Ava's Attic. I think it's so cool how everything goes full circle!

My go to everyday outfit usually consist of jeans and a tee. I guess you can call it my "off duty" look. I know, I consistently blog about how important it is to be comfortable. Personally, being comfortable is a must! If I am not comfortable in my clothes I will not wear it. I've always been that way since I was a little girl. Trust me, my parents learned the hard way. HAHA. If you are comfortable in your outfit your confidence really shows it.
This Sundry tee from Anthropologie is one of my favorite t-shirts. Every time I wear this tee, I always receive so many compliments on it. On the top, I love how the words "You had me at bonjour" embroidered on the tee. Honestly, when I saw this tee I really just had to have it. I knew I was going to wear it all the time and just love how it's different from most of my tees. I paired them with my favorite Levi's jeans. To give it more of a spring look, I finished the look with my Marc Fisher wedges. I've also paired it with my Stella McCartney sneaker which was super cute as well!
Overall, I think that this top is perfect to staple to add to your closet and great for an off-duty look!
With Mother's Day is just around the corner, this shirt would make a great gift!
